Thanks Donnie, I agree with your analogies that government is basically another extension of corporate America. Well said.

it doesn't matter, I understand that involvement gets noticed. My point is that voting doesn't get noticed. Our vote holds no power or sway in the overall picture of politics than trying to change the course of the Mississippi river by putting your hand in the rushing water.

Juliene, thanks for your kind words, come back and check us out weekly, I'll try to keep things going around here. Sorry I'm so far behind right now. Life happens and these reports don't write themselves.

We put the people in office who make up the electoral college. We also have the option to run for office, if you want that much of a say - get out there and campaign. Get involved. The more public you are, and the more you involve your local representatives, the more our government officials hear what you have to say. I say - vote.

Yes, politics are just another branch of corporate america. It has become a popularity contest with the lobbiest for control of consumer dollars, not an election of the best person to represent the American people. I have a right to vote, but I am losing faith in the importance of my vote and the weight it now carries. I do not watch the news or read the papers any more. I am tired of the propaganda and misinterpritations from the media. It is time for the people to speak out and restore American value to this country. Remember the Boston Tea Party?
